For teachers - How to use Real Life Rehearsals to teach any social skill you like, right across the curriculum

Scots PGC College, Warwick, wanted to do something to help its students handle the many types of social situations they already did, or were likely to in the future - at school, at work and work experience and socially. Furthermore, they wanted something they could use time and time again.

The school was keen to use Party Without Pain and very much liked the idea of using Real Life Rehearsals but also asked Mark how else he could help. Mark went to Brisbane and then drove to Warwick. Here he delivered a 3-hour workshop to 36 teachers. They came from right across the school.

Mark's presentation included first hand demonstrations of Real Life Rehearsals applied to: how to handle sexual harassment; how to deal with rude colleagues; how to refuse the offer of a drink but still be part of the 'in crowd'; and how handle a difficult and grueling job interview; and how tom refuse a lift with a drunk driver.

Teachers left with a new teaching strategy that they could immediately use.
